Around the world, tourism to Israel is, in general, either climbing or staying steady despite the situation there. Some people on here try to discourage travel to Israel or say it’s not "safe"… and yet people keep going there. So, why do you think people continue to travel to Israel? Thanks.

I am hoping to go to Israel 2-3 weeks during the new year. I tend to backpack or stay at hostels and eat meals on the cheap for the most part. Would 50 USD a day be sufficiant as a travel budget?

When you travel to Israel and first arrive in the country is everyone subjected to a lot of questioning and interrogation at the airport because of security issues?
