1st: it’s not carpet bombing, that is a thing of the past. They use precise air 2 surface. 2nd; that is called collateral damage. Lastly: HAMAS are inconsiderate for hiding among innocent Palestines that want 2 live a normal life….that’s if the 2 are mutually exclusive.
Even wild animals are free from such actions.
Israel is not Smart or intelligent they should calm down before they go extinct.

There is no such thing as an Innocent Civilian in a culture that does not stand up against evil people doing evil things.

Hamas/Palestine/rest of the Arab world, is constantly bombing (whether by missiles or by suicide bombers) Israel and Israeli sectors with little to no reprimand from anyone… but when Israel finally has enough they are instantly the bad guy… :/
For my whole life, I’ve been hearing about those two groups of hate-filled, ultra-violent religious extremists killing one another. Over and over again, more civilized countries have tried in vain to intervene and negotiate a peaceful resolution. But you can’t help people who don’t want help - who only want to destroy each other. So I don’t give a crap anymore. I say let them go ahead and obliterate each other. The world will be better off without their toxic, hateful cultures.

All of it is non-religious. Israel is a secular nation, and any military decision is for the protection of civilians. Hamas has made a decision to bombard southern Israel with rockets and grenades, and Israeli leaders are still contemplating a ground attack (which would cause far more casualties). People are forced to live in bomb shelters, and it is on Israel to get any international sympathy. Actually, Hamas has caused more casualties recently than Israel. During the random launching of mortar rockets they hit a Palestinian home, killing two civilians. On another instance, two insurgents were killed after a rocket launcher exploded.
Edit: Last time I checked it was the British who controlled the land, and the international community that supported Zionism (many because it meant less Jews in their country). In the British Mandate 99% of the Middle East was returned to Arabs, and yet Israel is this small piece that the Jews received.
Very clever captain idiot, they’re missiles are so well guided they have killed hundreds of innocent people..Everyone talks about Hamas firing rockets yet no mention of the 40 year occupation of Gaza, or the last year and a half siege the Israeli terrorists put Gaza and its 1.5 million people under! Israel always has an excuse for killing, they are simply cold blooded murderers; the only solution is for one or the other to leave, the Israelis or the Arabs, and since the Israelis are Europeans and Americans that came and took ARAB land, it only makes sense they piss off back to where they belong, Germany, Russia, Poland, Austria, America etc..

I think you’ll find that the Israeli weapons have better guidance systems that the 8,000 unguided rockets that Hamas has fired into Israel in the last three years.
I also think you’ll find that the instant Hamas stops firing rockets at Israel then the bombing will stop.
The non-religious justification is called "Self Defence": the recognised right of a sovereign state to defend itself and its citizens from attack.
Lets just imagine for a moment what would happen if Canada became an Islamic state and started firing rockets at the US. If negotiation failed (as it has done in this case because Hamas wants Israel totally destroyed) what would the US do? Shrug its shoulders and accept few civilian casualties? I somehow doubt it. The same applies to any two neighbouring countries.
[and "carpet bombing" is not what is happening - carpet bombing uses massed formations of heavy bombers (which Israel does not have) dropping bombs on a designated area of a city; not the use of precision guided weapons from fighter-bombers as Israel is currently using. You're reading too much Islamist propaganda to be able to even think straight]
EDIT: last time you checked, you only checked back to 1948 - try checking back a few thousand years more and learn your history - the Jews lived in the region before Islam ever existed and before Arabs or "Palestinians" were ever recognised. When the State of Israel was proclaimed they offered peaceful co-existence with all the Arabs living in the country - but many of them chose to leave (were not forced out) and the rest attacked Israel, along with all of Israel’s arab neighbours.

And if you remember right, it was ORIGINALLY the Jew’s homeland, not the Arabs. The Arabs INVADED it, remember? The Jews have prayed 3 times a day for 2000 years to be able to return to their land.

Oh yes, and it was the land of Israel for over 1300 years before the Romans came and invaded it. It was renamed Palestine by the Roman general Hadrian around 135 AD. No Arabs were living there at that time.
