Ok, this is for the expert here.
I am in Israel, I want to fly to Los Angeles and get a one way ticket.
I saw a flight that is 650$ one way , Israel-Germany, Germany- L.A.
My question is: If I’ll fly to Europe with the same airline but in Europe I’ll take an arabic airline (like Emirates, heard they are cheap) to LAX will that be cheaper?

I will be going to Israel this summer and am hoping to head towards Europe afterwards. I am hoping to go by boat to Cyprus, Greece finally Italy, but I am having difficulty finding anything online. Is it unsafe to choose this method of travel? I don’t have much money as I am a student, so boat seems adventurous and cheap. I have good travel experience in SE Asia, so I am accustomed to the lifestyle. Does anyone have any recommendations?

for two months while i was there… we basically fell inlove.. i met his family and got along great.. his brother lives in the U.S and he plans to come back here in a couple months, we are now in a LDR.. the problem is now he is in another country (europe) for a couple months and he has not called for 2 weeks. should i be worried .. or maybe he doesnt have a phone to call? or a computer? am i just making excuses?

by the way — i left israel about a month and a half ago and before he left for amsterdam he called me everyday and acted normal.. like a bf should.

Im 15 (turning 16 this year - 2009) so im still a little to young for Taglit’s trips

So; Is there any alternatives for younger teens?
doesnt have to be Taglit, but like,- other similiar trips ?

i dont c any point of them playng they nternational football in europe..its better for germany to play they international football n south america coz every1 in europe hate germany..and we know many countres they hate each other but still n sports thers no politics.

My top reasons:
1) My family lives there.
2) It’s super beautiful with amazing beaches, well-preserved ruins and lots of history. Not to mention that Israeli girls are the most beautiful in the world.
3) The people are super friendly, once you get past the prickly ‘Sabra’ exterior. And everyone is very upfront, but also hospitable and kind of chill.
4) The food….OMG! Where else will you have wienershnitzel, kube, malawach, and Israeli salad all in the same meal!!! mmmmmmmm
5) The weather. We have the warmest winters in Europe!

I know that most Europeans don’t like the jews much but why do the leaders still support israel. Isn’t Europe supposed to be a democracy? In the American case it is because of the jewish lobbies and the jews that have infiltrated American politics, not to mention the jewish media and the evangelical "Christians". Why exactly to the European leaders support israel?

i have a connecting flight in new york with ending destination in tel aviv israel, will i have to recheck my bags in new york ?
what if my connecting flight is in europe?
also when exiting the plane in israel, how do you get to customs, do they tell you? and is it lenghty process?
