It’s not that difficult to raise terrorists.
You simply go to the poorest areas in deeply religious cities…
Tell those people that they’ve been blessed by some god.
Tell them that the Jews and the Americans are the cause of their problems.
Tell them that their family will be taken care of…
And finally give them a new meaning in life…to hate.
Throw in a bonus like - you’ll get 120 virgins in terrorist heaven if you kill yourself and you have a kid who has nothing to live for and never even been with a woman saying "where do I sign up!"
A pretty simple formula that those unfortunate, weak-minded, uneducated people would call a miracle…
But how do you get educated people to side with them? There are so many arabs that are very educated, make a decent living and know how the world works. They are not oppressed, they are not forced to chant "Death to Israel" and they are not even in the same country!
What in the world is wrong with them?
Any logical human would see that what they’re doing is wrong…What have Israelis ever done? All they ask for is to be left alone and live in peace.
I mean seriously, these people compare Israel with monsters for Defending Themselves! However, when Palestinian terrorists blow themselves up in schools, clubs, hotels, restaurants, bus stops, beaches, train stations, theaters…killing hundreds of kids, elderly, brothers, sisters, mothers…all you hear is crickets. Not a word from them.
Some world they live in…
First sorry for asking this in R&S but people here are a bit more rational than in politics and there is religious motivation behind everything Israel does.

So why does Israel continually do things to piss Palestinians off? Evicting people from where they have lived for years to build a hotel. Why doesnt Israel want peace?
no im no new the these politics. i know about the countless UN violations ignored by Israel, the countless bombings of civilians, the checkpoints, the jewish only highways, the illegal settlements, the illegal apartheid wall
The thing I don’t understand is why is there such a controversy over this?? ppl on both sides say they won. I am an Egyptian American citizen. But I am biased. So lets look this through, If I am not mistaking Sinai was attacked by Israel and conquered. What happened was in 1973 Sadat invaded Suez by blocking napalm holes and watering down the sand walls.
Lets skip the whole outline of the war but, why is it that it is said that the third army was surrounded and they could have lost. Egypt could have destroyed the surrounding forces but that would yield in death of the third army which they didn’t want, Though could have done. And correct me if I’m wrong the Israel army when they crossed East across the Suez Canal they were heading to Ismalia but were stopped. Where does it say they were surrounding them? And besides.. it doesn’t make sence.. Doesn’t Egypt have domestic forces? That technically if you look at it the forces they say surrounded the third army were also surrounded themselves?
Any way the best we could ask for is peace, which has happened. But why is there too much propaganda saying that we are monsters when all we wanted to do was reclaim our birthright land. Just been a mystery to me.
Because I’m a Jew, I’m eligible for birthright (an organization that sends Jews to Israel for free) and becuse my older sister is an Israeli fanatic who wants me to be in touch with my Jewish roots. Also my mom was born in Israel.
I really don’t want to go but i had trouble disagreeing with the argument "but it’s free" so at everyone’s nagging I applied for the trip, I wanted to sabatogue my application but my heart wasn’t in it, but out of respect to my family who felt it was really important, i answered the questions in a way that made it sound like i actually wanted to go.
Now the trip’s a couple weeks away, and what can i say, it doesn’t interest me. I’d like to see places of the world i’ve already been and i’ve been to Israel before twice (when I was 6 and
and I feel guilty because i’ll bet there were jews who actually wanted to go on the trip. I think even though it’s free, i lose a deposit if i don’t go.
I’m 24 but i have a good memory for my childhood and i remember everything very vividly. I want to see someplace new. My mom’s parents were born in Persia, so i think that’s just as much home to me. I also am fairly religious (conservative) in Judaism, but I believe what’s important is promoting religious tolerance here in America and not concerning ourselves with Israel. Israel was needed back in the day when Jews weren’t accepted elsewhere but now we can live in peace with other Americans.
You agree with John Lennon when he said "Give peace a chance?"
We need to force Israel to agree to the Arab road map to peace. The US provides Israel with aid and weapons but we are not allowed to send aid to the Palestinians without going to jail. How do we boycott Israel? Anybody know a list of products and companies that do business with Israel? This is not about anti-senitism, this is about human rights!!!
Because all I see is people inciting violence, threatening to "strap" bombs on themselves and these supposed "activists" are suddenly without the tiniest concept of peace.
People who do ask legitimate travel questions are attacked wrongly. HOW DARE YOU ASK TRAVEL QUESTIONS during this war!
i hate the way israelian people take everything from small countries. what do you think is the reason they’re doing this? they’re originally dont have their own land, they go here and there, they kill people, they do bad things. do they hate peace?
there is no peace in palestine for over 5 decades, america have not secure peace or won war in afghanistan and iraq;the unjustifiable battle?
Since they love Israel so much, why don’t they go and live there?
Dina : Why do you small minded imbeciles always associate Zionism with jews?
I said Israel not Jews silly rabbit.
There is a big difference between Zionism and Judaism. Zionism is about grabbing land, Judaism is about peace and living in harmony with its neighbors. Dina you obviously lack understanding about this subject.
In 1980, Israel passed the Jerusalem Law stating that a united Jerusalem is the eternal capital of the Jewish people. While I agree with that statement, my question is, does it have to be the political capital of the State of Israel? Mecca is the "capital" of Islam without being the seat of any Islamic government. New York and L.A. are the cultural capitals of the U.S. Is this a fair comparison to make with the Jews and Jerusalem? Can it be the religious and cultural capital of the Jews and Israel with Tel Aviv as the political capital? Would this make it easier to "share" Jerusalem with a future Palestinian state?
I already asked this in Religion and Spirituality but I thought I might get more "colorful" answers here.
Lee R, did you even read the question? I’ll make it more clear. I live in California right now. For some reason, Sacramento is the sate capital. No one cares about Sacramento. It’s the seat of the government and that’s it. L.A. is the real "capital" of the state. I’m asking if Tel Aviv should be like Sacramento for Israel since the Palestinians are going to need at the very least a symbolic foothold in Jerusalem if there is to be peace.
Peace rules.
Hamas does not.
Self defense is not a crime.
Hamas is truly evil along with all of its supporters.
I think I must cancel out my forthcoming visit to Israel this summer.
Is it safe for a family of five to visit Israel?
I mean with all of those terrible things happening there, like rockets, exploding people and all?
Do you think Ibiza is a better vacation place for a peace loving family or not?
Thank you!
